Ive ordered 1-1/2 twice and both times they sent me 3". I finally just converted my grey tanks to 3" THEN found the manufacturing of these is so poorly they need modification to fit..instructions are terrible to. And yes, why is the wiring 3 feet long? The entire purpose is to have remote switches. But I can get past all of this IF they just lasted. They don :( You will be replacing these yearly..and at this price no thanks. Not to mention price of extras to make this work.. wire..valtera valves pipe etc. Huge waste of time and money on a part that seems to work fine at first but doesnt have longevity.

I have a motorhome that requires one to crouch under the slide to reach the tank drains. We have a washer on board and it will fill the grey tank in short order. So I wanted a simple way to just open the grey (while connected to sewer) while doing laundry etc. This fit the bill. Installation is straightforward and easy for any DYIer. However, the twist is the length of wiring harness from the control box to the valve actuator. I wanted my control box mounted beyond the included length. The smart thing that the manufacturer did was code the wiring harness the same as 4 conductor trailer wire. One package of trailer wire, quality water proof splicing and ALEX TECH cable protection, problem solved. I tapped the power into an existing 12vdc supply. The actuator on the 1.5 inch valve has a 3 sec cycle so the additional draw on the circuit I tapped is negligible.

The motor assembly does not fit the Valerta valve. This is some backyard hack that was made 10 years ago to a valve that has since been replaced. The motor assembly does to mount correctly on the valve and the mounting holes aren’t even the right size. Complete waste of money.

The valve works great, but it had to be dismantled and adjusted because the light was still on when it was closed.

I was amazed at how quickly my order arrived and when I got the kit I was again quite surprised to find that it was very well packaged and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow. My customer will enjoy this product for many worry free miles!
