This is a premium volleyball net, I was expecting a cheaper, wimpy net, but boy was I surprised. This net is absolutely amazing. It is plenty durable and can take a beating. I have used this many times at the beach and had many times I thought it wouldn't last, but it has.I would definitely recommend this net.

We ordered this for playing volleyball in the pool as we didn't want to spend over $100.00 on the ones made specifically for a pool.This works perfectly for us, one end is tied to our metal fence, and the other to a hook on the house; it goes across the pool and several feet beyond on each side...we did add a hanging plant hook on one end to make it a bit easier to tie each side and to unhook when done. Where it spans over the ground close at the house and the fence, there is about 3 feet without a net, so we can duck under it to get to the pool steps.We've used it several times and have had a blast playing...great net...plus if we want to use it on land, that's what it was made for!

it was all that we needed for a trip to Grenada in which we did games for dozens of children. For our purpose, it was light weight and easy to pack, and worked perfectly.

With our kids grown, we did not need a professional grade net anymore. This net was very inexpensive...however it gets the job done.

Like fellow reviewer Life Adventurist, we are using this not as a volleyball net, but as a safety net at the end of our driveway. We attached carabiner clips (one to each of the four corners) and attach it to the existing fence that surrounds our property, but is open at the driveway. It's easy to put up when we go outside to play, and easy to take down and store in the garage the rest of the time. So far I haven't had issues with the net getting twisted/tangled when hauling it back and forth.It's not a secure solution (a kid determined to escape could climb under it, and I don't think it'd hold a bike at top-speed), but it's perfect for creating a visual boundary for kids, catching balls, and deterring cars from using our driveway as a turn-around point.

I was concerned with price until I opened the package. This net is much better than what comes in complete kits. It will last a long time and stand up to hard play. 5 stars if it was a little lower in price.

This is a very good net for the price. It will do the job. Its little flimsy on the bottom, don't expect the ball to pop out when it hits the net. Aside from that we had a blast playing on it.

held up well to a group of rowdy players.. easy to tighten as top ties are long enough to tie off at lower hooks on the pole.

I made a set of portable volleyball poles for our back yard (Spare tires, galvanized poles and cement, chain link fence bands). I needed a net that was sturdy enough to leave outside on the poles. Our daughter had a party with 30+ 7th graders, and this net was perfect. The ball bounced right off, and the kids didn't do any damage when they ran into it. It is better than I thought it would be. (We use small carabiners through the metal grommets to attach it to the poles)

We have used this net for a little while now. I am impressed with the construction and durability. If anchored properly, it definitely stands up to the occasional player collision or errant serve.

It's excellent quality and would work great for a volleyball net! However, we're using it to block the end of our sloped driveway to keep rogue basketballs from bouncing into the street. If you are looking for a solution like that for kids, I highly recommend it! And, like I mentioned, the quality is excellent and it's extremely durable. Great quality net!

This is my first really negative review. The item that was delivered was not Macgregor, but rather some cheap off-brand made in Taiwan by the name of Gold Medal. Really disappointing and will return item.
