Not thick,but non-slip.I use them when peeling/slicing vegetables.Mandolin doesn't slip.Makes clean up easy.

I was really happy with them at first. They are basic, utilitarian, and protect the table really well. But after using them daily, I'm really annoyed with them. Everything sticks. E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Crumbs, drips, sauce. NOT easy to wipe off. Must be washed with soap and water after every use, or they look horrible, messy and dirty all the time. And when you wash them, even the water sticks to them, which makes them difficult to dry by hand, so I end up hanging them on the backs of my chairs to air dry all the time. Also, they were pricey, so I only bought one set to try (even though I need more to seat guests at the table). Glad I did a test run. I will NOT be buying another set.

I love these placemats. I use them over a tablecloth because the white ones are translucent so you can still see the pattern through them. The wooden table will be marred without these waterproof and heat resistant protectors. Easy to clean, just rinse under faucet.

Used these to replace old kids silicone placemats at the table. Pros: They are lightweight and easy to clean. You can use both sides. Good price compared to “kids” brands. Cons: does not stick to my table very well, but again you can use either side. Kids ones are more immovable and perhaps thats why they are more expensive?

It's Ok. The placemats are very thin, certainly easy to clean and transport. Together, I think so they are a bit heavy. Take this into account to the shipping.

Definitely put these out on the table when the in-laws are coming over! And, they really feel sexy-smooth.... kinda like me after "manscaping". OK, a little TMI for ya??? Seriously, these are nice.

Just what I was looking for. These are lightweight, so easy to roll up and stow when not in use. I rinse them off to keep clean. Silicone protects table from scratches and heat damage.
