I ordered this because I am currently 4 weeks into an 8 week Achilles tendonitis rehab on my right ankle. My left ankle is the one I got this for because it is picking up the slack and is showing signs of the same. Sleeping in this brace makes the first step out of bed way less painful than without it. It's easy to adjust the aluminum brace and the Velcro holds well overnight. I do wish it was made for smaller feet as I am a size 6 to 6.5 women shoe size and that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Hope this helps any one else!!

I had a boot for PF from my podiatrist and it does hold a candle to how comfortable this one. I slept all night without an issue and don't dread sleeping with it like my old one. It's EASY to put on and take off as well. I recommend this particular product for Plantar Fasciitis

This splint, unlike others, has a support for the heel, which helps limit plantar flexion. Previously I tried a similar splint that featured straps on lower lefg and forefoot only- allowing my foot mote plantar flexion than was helpful. Condition is improving with stretching and nightly use of this splint . Easy on an off. Lots of velcro straps that are adjustable to individual comfort.

I bought this splint last year in September and only recently did I kneel too hard on it and snapped it in half. The velcro part for my calf juuuust fit comfortably on the original one and due to having wider feet and bunions, I actually cut the fabric to relieve pressure - but that's not fault of the product. The velcro gets unsticky fast if you have pets and a lot pet hair. Despite this I LOVE this product and it has helped immensely compared to others. However, most recently I reordered and it seems... smaller? I vaguely remember being able to choose a size last time but not this time. The velcro strap for the calf feels even shorter and the area around the toes tighter. Maybe I'm just not remembering what it was like brand new and it stretched out over time to be more comfortable.. my take away is: be cautiously optimistic if you have wide calves or bunions, and be careful to not leave the velcro exposed to pet hair!

Price was half of what they wanted in doctor's office. Gives me great relief from my plantar fasciitis.

I haven't tried on the other night splint but this one seems to provide enough comfort that I can easily move around without the foot losing its position. It is a discipline though to keep it on each night. It should be removed each time you get up to do something though in the night.

Significantly reduces pain when getting up in the morning. Very comfortable. Lower velcro has a tendency to become loose but other than that I highly recommend it. Good price

This brace keeps your foot at a 90 deg. angle to keep the tendons stretched while you sleep. I tried all sorts of other braces but this one has helped me the most! I highly recommend it!

This is for sleeping NOT walking, I guess I don't understand reviews that mention support, lol, it's clearly to wear while lying in bed NOT walking.Anyway, I have suffered from p.f. On both feet. My right foot was cured with plasma rich injections, something I have scheduled for my left foot as well. Until then there's not much you can treat p.f. with, but stretches, good shoes, custom insoles, losing weight, and wearing a night splint. The purpose of a night splint is to keep your foot from flexing down, when it does this your p.f. tendon contracts, so during the night it gets shorter, when you stand up in the morning it stretches your planter fascia, re-tearing the injury. By wearing the night splint it keeps the tendon from shrinking, so to speak, so when you get up and stand on it it's less painful and less likely to injure it further/again.This does seem to be made for people with average to smaller size calves, I'm an average size woman and it fits fine. With most night splints it's the velcro that wears out, so far this is holding up (I've had it a couple months) but even if I have to buy a new one every six months it's the best night splint I've found so far and would do it.Just FYI, If you are prone to clotting you should talk to your Dr. Before wearing any type of splint or boot. If you don't know you can get the simple blood test to let you know. Good luck, p.f. is horrible.

The doctor wanted to give me a brace for 10 times the price. I purchased this one and it does a better job than the one the doctor wanted to give me. Works great!

I really like this splint. It's reasonably comfortable thru the night and the wide plastic prevents any pain from other products that use an aluminum rod for stability. The only real weakness is the design of the velcro. Since it has only the hook side of the velcro, it relies on the material to adhere to, rather than having two side of full hook and loop velcro. As a result, after about a month of use, the hooks no longer adhere to the material well, and thus they come unfastened really easily. That's super frustrating, and something I expect more from out of the product design. I'm contemplating adding my own supplemental velcro to the splint, but that's effort one shouldn't have to take on their own. I'd have been happy to have given 5 stars if the velcro design was better.

Im not sure it's keeping my foot solidly at 90 deg while I sleep since the bottom is stretchy, but it's comfortable, light and easy to “walk” in when I have to get up for the bathroom in the middle of the night.
