The Comfort Foam Cock-Up Wrist Splint is made from soft foam with a soothing nylon material laminated to each side. The Velcro closures and adjustments provide customizable support with greater comfort. There is a metal stay in the palm that holds the wrist in the "cock-up"position. The palmer stay is bent at a recommended 30° angle which is believed to help open the carpal tunnel and thus reduce pressure on the carpal nerve. Cock-up wrist splints are recommended by health care professionals for carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, wrist sprains, post-casting, postoperative, protection during activity, wrist instability, and support for sore wrists, and more. Application Instructions:
Unfasten the hook and loop closures on the Wrist Splint. Slip the Wrist Splint over the hand with the rigid spoon facing the palm of the hand. Slip thumb through the hold on the Wrist Brace. Slip each of the three straps through the loop locks starting at the bottom. Tighten each strap on the Wrist Brace until comfortable.
Care Instructions:
The Wrist Brace can be machined washed with mild detergent. Lay the Wrist Brace flat to dry. Do not use a hot dryer or iron on the Wrist Brace.

I bought these for wearing at night to relieve carpal tunnel. The design and comfort are fine, but if you have small wrists, the Velcro straps go way past where they need to be. I have to wrap them and Velcro about 3 inches onto the brace fabric, which has caused the fabric to fray. Since the strap also doesn't sit securely, I often catch the edge on the covers or something else when moving at night. They still work, but they will not likely last long having to secure them like this.

this is for people with big hands i guess, i got a medium for each hand but as tight as it could go my hand was still very loose in the upper part. so it gave me bruises and some pain, but it kept my wrists in place and stopped the numbness i would wake up with

It feels really nice at first but then gets very loose pretty quickly, so that means you have to tighten it more but there is no more available space for the velcro.

I had problems with my wrest, it hurt and kept on swelling. For my job I have to write alot and it usually hurt. But since using this my hand don't hurt as much. And it holds my hand it place. Little or no swelling
