Sturdy beautiful, love the stone look, my adult daughter thought it was real stone. I didn't need to secure them to wall but they can be. I plan on buying the white shelves for our bedroom soon. These are the 6 shelf , imo having a seventh shelf would look odd with our ceiling clearance.

This bookcase was a present for my daughter and she loved it. I also liked it.Together the two of us put our hands into motion and assembled it in less than an hour. I bought it at $149.99 on May-30, 2023 on a special sale. I think the price is good at that rate, however most of the time is offered above that selling price.Anyway, I do recommended as a quick and simple solution to store a small collection of books. Very decorative.

I was truly amazed with how beautiful and sturdy this bookcase is. I put this bookcase together myself in less than an hour, maybe 30-45 minutes. The shelves have a beautiful design that I didn't notice during the initial purchase, so that's a plus! The design compliments the black and gold bookcase. I was searching for a tall bookcase for my bedroom and I found it. It has exceeded my expectations!

I initially bought two. The first one was put together without complications, but the second one had a defective piece. I reached out to the manufacture and they did all they could to help me. They were very friendly but the replacement i got also had a few defective pieces.

The shelves themselves are great, sturdy and well made. However, the console table which is pushed as a set, does not match - the wood is entirely different color. So after spending about $1000 on 5 shelves and a console table, I have an unusable mismatched set.

These shelves look great, are sturdy and stable without anchoring to the wall. However, if there are kids or pets in the home, anchoring to the wall is a must...and the anchoring system is top-notch.2 small nits to pick: 1) it would be helpful if the framing pieces were labeled to show top and front, left and right for each piece. Made several mistakes during assembly that wasted time. and 2) some of the joints on the sections of framing do not meet up flush. This is not so much a problem with the black framing but I imagine it would be quite noticeable with th gold/brass frames.Overall though...a strong buy recommendation.
