41400009 / 41400009 Hydrotech Reverse Osmosis Filter

I inherited the filter installation from the former owner. Nothig really clear what it was, the manufacturer no longer exists. Took a chance and the measurements seemed correct so I tried this set. Many things from the current condition of the filter needed attention. After cleaning and disinfestion of the old cartridge housings, I went ahead and installed these and pressurized the holding tank. Everything works perfectly now, thanks to a few YouTube tutorials.My municipal water isn't all that bad, higher calcium levels and intermittantly sterilized with chlorine, the filter removes any noticable traces of these. Oddly enough, since the source is above ground in the summer months there can be a blue-green algae bloom which makes the water smell pretty badly. Again the filter removes any noticable traces.What worthy of note is I constanly use an electric water boiler and a Koerig single use coffee maker. The manufacturers warn to descale these devices after some use. There has been zero calcium or other build up on either device. The filter must be doing a good job.----->>> In closing these are good cartridges, I have replace multiple sets in two years. I will continue to use these because they do exactly what I expect of them if not more.

I ordered these so I could change my filters more frequently than I have been. When changed the old filters had much sediment on them and that is from the county water system. With the multipack I can change every 6-8 months instead of waiting. Nice to have the. spares on hand. Ordered these and was suppose to be 2 day delivery and it was 6 days arriving. Tracking showed from Fla to SC to Fla to Ga but they finally arrived.
