The head has 1/2\" female National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) threaded input and output connections, and a silicone O-ring provides a dependable seal. The housing can be used with standard 10\" x 2-1/2\" filter cartridges (sold separately). It has an initial pressure drop of 5 pounds per square inch (psi) at a flow rate of 8 gallons per minute (gpm), a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi, and a maximum operating temperature of 160 degrees F (71.1 degrees C).
