I grew up playing this game 25 years ago) This updated version is fun but there are some differences from what I remember 1) there are a lot more rules 2) It takes much longer to complete the game than the originalI miss having the little houses and buildings that you used to get to set up on the board However I did like all of the action cards my kids loved playing the mini-games) Overall my 8 and 9 year old and I had a blast playing this and Id purchase again although Im going to see if I can find the classic version)

This is the same game of life I used to play as a child the cards are different but overall it’s the same So we knew how it was My daughter refused to keep playing once she realized she HAD to get married but that’s the problem with the game not with this particular product

Ive always been a big fan of this game for teaching children how our life choices affect our living situation Its too easy to sit around and envy others today It is never too early to teach them that life is what THEY make it and that their choices have consequences and determine their path Game is well made and durable

Bought as a gift and if was a hit

I got this because the TripAdvisor aspect seemed interesting and because kids love games involving Life especially fighting over what career they want even though thats not part of the rules and wanting a baby boy or twins) What I do like about it is the cards have a variety of new careers fashion designer vet etc) that are modern and also that the cards ask you to share some information about yourself like a party game would before you collect your money) There are also cards that incorporate other party games where you ask people Would you like a drink? and if they say yes then you collect their money haha a trick) And the new homes are modern too and I especially like the Eco-home and some of the luxury houses Theres a lot of money given out in this game I was surprised If you collect a card that says collect 50k it says if you keep this card it is worth 100k at the end of the game So basically its like the old Life tiles except now you are guaranteed 100k per card It also lets you spin to see how many children you add to your car in case you only got one and wanted a big family) Instead of the stock cards if people spin your number you get paid and there isnt insurance in this version You can also put a token on the spinner and if your number gets chosen you get paid This aspect seems so much like a casino game) I havent tested it out with the kids yet but will soon
