Just performed with my troupe in these pants - last weekend. They were beautiful and perfect, I am short - so when I read the reviews that these pants were too short I knew they would be perfect for me. (Still a tiny bit long but perfect as I never tripped in them while dancing.) I am 5 ft.

Cute. Good for the price, but the waistband was sewn in a way that makes it seem more cheaply made than the rest of it. It's snug and short. It rises above my ankles which is fine, because at least I won't trip over the hem, but I'm only 5'7 I am a size 8 and it is snug but looks good. I may buy another color in the future, but I may spend more money to buy pants that fit a bit better.

These are slightly see-through, but they do have the wrap to cover up your panties.The main problem is the waist band is not higher in the back, so they fall very low if I bend over, sit down, crouch or essentially do anything other than stand still. Butt cleavage is evil and must be stopped. I honestly can't even wear these due to how low the back falls, they were a waste of money. I suppose if you have no booty these might be okay, but they don't work for me at all. I'll probably just sell them on Craigslist to try and make back some of the money I spent. I'm sad, I was really looking forward to these pants.I expected them to be too long, as I am only 5' tall, but they aren't -that- long. So if you are over 5'6, they may actually be a bit short.

Way too tight in the hip and crotch area. I am 5'7 and 115lb, built like Twiggy. I typically wear a size 3 and their small was too small for me.

A little muffin top but they fit me, 31 waist but 40 hips. I'm 5'4 and they're not too long. They are polyester slick and feel flowy. I really like them!

It's thigh on the band of your hips, unless you are a small size they are going to strangled your waist/hips. Now they increased the price to double, for what you get you can buy those from any other company and they will fit you better

Bought for $17 July 2014.They look great, but are too small in the waist band area, and I'm pretty petite (5'2 100 lbs), and they were tight. Length was fine though.

Finally pants for petite women. I am 5'2 and 160 pounds in weight. I ordered a small and it fits so well. The size guide says the inseam is 29 but I am sure it is at least 30 and should fit someone up to 5'4 comfortably. The material is not cotton but a very nice synthetic that feels comfortable and classy (nothing cheap about it). I will definitely wear it to my belly dance classes and with a few embellishments, it can work for a performance too. The only -ve is the hip scarf is not detachable and it's too small to cover the full backside. I will probably just cut it out and use a regular hip scarf to add some color. I still giving it 5*s because it's really tough to find petite pants. I hope it lasts and holds shape. I will definitely buy a couple more colors. Highly recommended!

It fits me because it is made from a stretchy material, but for a large person the plus size is better. I am 5'3' (size 6) and the length is right. I first got the standard size color red, and then just ordered a pink. Truthfully, I do not mind ordering one of each color. They are beautiful, sexy, and very feminine. They feel like a long skirt with two elephant trumps and hanging tails at the bottom. I tied up the tails to make them shorter when I wear flat shoes; otherwise, they will drag on the street. They are cute but the material is a polyester (medium thick, not shear like some other belly dancing pants that I bought), not cotton. However, for the price, you cannot expect much. Overall, they are good multi-purpose pants for groceries shopping, yoga, beach walk, dancing, or around the house. They are very comfortable. I just wish they would make them in cotton because it is better for the skin.

Elastic in waist band is a big rubber band, it folds on itself inside the pants. The material is nice and soft, and slippery. They are fairly comfortable, and the length is good. I also got a black pair, they are too short.

I ordered these pants in the plus size because the reviews say they run small. Well, I'm between a size 10-12, which isn't exactly what I'd call plus sized, and these pants are still way too small around the waist. Meanwhile, the rest of the pant fits quite well. The manufacturer of these pants needs to do some reworking of their pattern.The only way I can make these work is if I tear out the elastic band and put a new one it myself. If it wasn't for the disproportionately small waist, they'd be really great pants and I'd have given them 5 stars.
