Bought this to go to Haiti to help build (rebuild) houses. Fortunately when during the time we were there we did not see any mosquitos. Left it on the cot during the day to keep out any critters or bugs that might want to wander in to the bedding. Only problem is that it blocks most of the air flow, so at night did not use it. It is very small and compact, and I assume thta due to the tight weave of the netting it would keep mosquitos out hence the top rating.

This is a great addition to my hiking sleep-system. It's lightweight, compact, and it works well with my hammock or my favorite chair in the backyard.

Large enough, airy enough, effective at keeping out mosquitoes. In other words, this product passes all of the critical tests. I had some trouble keeping the cord tension right so that the net was not resting on my skin.

No frills netting keeps the bugs out if you can keep still and keep the net pinned to the ground. This net didn't work to hot for my application. I was using a Silshelter bottomless shelter and the net was rather unruly. Probably best used suspended above a cot on flat ground with no vegetation to keep the edges sealed to the ground.

Its a mosquito net, it is what it is, and it does what its supposed to. So its a good product for a modest price and fits into a very small bag, My sleep system for warm weather is this, a hammock, and a small tarp and they all fit into a fairly small pouch with very little weight.

I've not yet used this because, thankfully, both times I've taken it with me, I've not had any bug problems. So, I can only comment on my initial impression. It is a bit smaller than I expected, based on the photos. I fit inside it, but it's a tight squeeze, and I'm only 5'8". I would probably opt for the double-size next time, even just for using it by myself. Other than that, it appears to be as described.

The net is good, but a little difficult to tuck yourself in, especially keeping the net taught. I used the net while in Haiti. Also, you need to think in advance of what your going to hang the string from and it seems to be best if you hang it from a non-movable item and several feet high, about 6-7 feet high for me I believe. Also the foot of the net seemed to rest on my feet, so I had to make sure my feet had a thick covering as I still could have gotten bit right through the net. All in all I was still very grateful to have it!

I like the net. It's adjustable for height and has tie loops at all four corners. However it is written up as if it protected against no-see-ums. Maybe it does?!?! But I was hoping that the holes size was smaller than the typical mosquito netting that you can buy at the local sporting goods store. It was the same size. So if you want really small holes, this is not the net you're looking for. Also, if you plan to use it in a room, say if you are staying in the jungles of South America or something, then you'll want to take along some sort of hook to mount into the roof and possibly some sort of ties for the corners. But I have to say, sleeping in this net does provide piece of mind.
