exactly what I needed for an upcoming performance. I have a red dress and a res beaded hip scarf but I wanted something ti distinguish the beaded red scarf from the dress. I sewed the black scarf to the red beaded scarf and it is now perfect for the stage!

I ordered these scarfs for a 40 mile breast cancer walk. We tied them around our hips, and they looked so cute. We got many compliments. They lasted well over 40 miles and added a bit of "glam" to our outfits. Love them! The scarfs were big enough to wrap around and tie a knot around our hips. Our dress sizes are 10 and 18, and the scarf looked great on both sizes.

I purchased 4 of these from this company. My only problem is that the first order wasn't fulfilled, and I had to go back and forth with the company until they filled my original order. All is well that ends well. They handled the problem as best as they could via their customer service department. I wish they had told me instead of me waiting til I never got my purchase in the mail. It went way too long. Nice product though.

I do not belly dance but this hip scarf may just inspire me. I got it to enhance a skirt that need a touch of exotica and glamour, well its pretty enough to do just that. I have some African and Indian print skirts that look stunning with the scarp draped over my hip, also like the fact that it is light weight and not too busy with designs.Great item. Thanks Opentip.

The scarf looks very good on but the quality does not seem that great. The paillettes reflect perfectly on it though!

This is a very flimsy piece of material. It's okay for a few costume wears, but not at the price they are asking. I wish I had looked at the reviews before wasting my money on it. I would not recommend this item.

The style is beautiful and looks just like the picture. The only thing is that it's not hemmed on the ends. I can deal with it but I will not buy another one without looking to see if it's hemmed nicely on all sides so it stays together for a while.

Very delicate, cheaply made- but still looks OK and priced fairly for what you get. You may be happy with, as long as you don't expect it to last long! A little too small in size and too fragile for a shawl (very sheer/lightweight), but will work as a hip wrap.

The scarf is beautiful, but cheaply made. It is not very durable because the scarf lacks a hem around the edges thus making the scarf hard to tie, easy to rip and also will fray in a short period of time. Just hemming the scarf, which would almost cost free, would solve all these problems. As of now, I will have to hem my own scarf.

I almost can't remember receiving an order that was so cheap looking, flimsy & poorly made...that was a Fingerhut item from a few years back. It looks like Opentip buys large squares of this material & uses dull scissors to cut them in half into the triangle shape. They ship without cleaning up all the loose threads that are stuck through the netting or giving it a decent top hem (raw cut) so that when its to be tied around the waist it won't tear all the paillettes and poorly tied fringe apart first time you wear it. It also did not ship with 2 other items that are included with the tracking - all items ordered were in stock & coming from Opentip. Where is the BellyLady tote bag it was to come with? I'd give that up in an instant to have better quality. Waiting to see the rest of the items before I send this garbage back for a full refund. So disappointed!!
