This review is for the clamp on version. It's sitting in my closet unused. It's too much trouble to bother sending it back.

While the product description says this is capable of accommodating a machine 21 1/4" tall, this is only possible if you have the clamp configured with the machine hanging out away from the desk instead of under it. If the clamp is configured to support a machine under the desk, it can support a maximum height of 17".

The notion that it can support up to 66lbs is nonsense. I would possibly trust it with half that weight. I tried putting my 40-45lb machine on it and it was hanging precariously at an angle.

I'm very disappointed. This product is very heavy with out the CPU in it. I had ordered a new desk, got the desk, and as things are now, nothing is solid wood. I was afraid the weight would damage the desk, as well as the fact that it called for use of 1" screws to install it and my desk top is 3/4" thick. I then attempted to return the product and they are refusing to take it back because all together it took 35 days. The product hasn't been installed or damaged in any way. Long story short, don't buy this unless you are sure you can use or you'll be stuck with it. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

A bit hard to install upside down and the screws that were provided where much to "light" for the job. Had to use small lag-type screws for installation to insure a secure installation to hold weight of tower.

Worked really well for Optiplex 790 desktops. All the hardware was provided and installation was a breeze. The mount allows for some flexibility in moving the towers back and forth.
