I suffer from hyperhidrosis, and bought a few products that prevent hand perspiration. This product is really amazing because it works okay on both wet and dry hands. The medicinal smell goes away after a few moments, as well as the tackiness. The product does takes the longest for the sticky feeling to go away, but it is well worth the wait.

Ironically, I feel exactly the opposite about Tite Grip. Pole moves make me nervous so my hands get sweaty and this helps me to stick better than anything else I have tried. If you have sweaty hands, Tite Grip is better than Mighty Grip. I don't have a problem with the smell at all. At first it smells like mint, but it oxidizes some on your hands and will have a slight metallic smell. It's not enough to bother me.
