Studio Designs 13280 Ponderosa Large Wood and Glass Drawing Desk in Sonoma Brown/Clear Glass (42" Wide)

I LOVE this table! It's exactly what I needed as an artist. The drawer holds a lot of supplies and is well made. Everything about this table is well made. It was fairly easy to put together as well. It even looks nice in the room ... it's not just a piece of equipment. It's a good blend between form and function. Love it!

The desk arrived on time and without damage. I was very pleased with the desk and the design. Putting the desk together was much easier than I anticipated and would have gone together in less than 20 min working by myself. Why did they deserve the 3 star versus 5? Would have went together within 20 minutes, but there are two leg pieces which fits to the overall desktop, right side was fine. However, the left side was missing the hinge to hold the desktop enabling it to move up and down, and a protective stop preventing the top from hitting the wood. This seems to have been completely overlooked during the QA since there were not even pilot holes drilled for the hinge itself, just finished wood. I did call the customer service and as other described they were friendly and ensured me they'd send the missing two pieces. This was 3 weeks ago as I post this, and still have not received missing parts. This was not a show stopper because a trip to the hardware store and I was able to get a 2 inch hinge, and plastic stopper to protect wood. However I would be concerned if there would have been something else wrong with the desk. Yes friendly service but no follow through. I would say it could be a hit or miss with this product as other have stated with the lack of quality assurance and no follow through from their customer service department. Having to update the review the hinge did finally arrive and changed to four stars.

LOVE it! I have been looking for just such a table. Two things would make it perfect a light (which I plan to install), and higher. I know there is a piece you can buy separate but not sure it is worth the cost. It is perfect for sitting at but a little to short for a tall person to stand at as I sometimes like to do. The one piece did come with shallow holes but I was able to call and get a replacement piece sent out immediately. I then carved out the holes myself to make it work. It really is GREAT!

My wife really likes her new art table. There were little scratches in the wood. The scratches were on the back so not a big issue.

Showed up in great condition, was simple to assemble, and my wife loves it! Bought it for my wife for Christmas so she had somewhere to work on her art, and it definitely exceded my expectations!

This desk is exactly as described/pictured. Assembly was easy, and it consistently remains assmebled, and supports my things above the ground.
