Very early in process with this project to install Humminbird Helix 7 Gen 2 DI and SI transducer on Motorguide Xi3 Trolling Motor.... Thought I would go this route vs Transducer Shield mount to save a little money... Having read the reviews prior to purchase I was expecting to need to make this mount work vs just putting it on.... Main thing I’d read was the transducer seemed to move a lot in the other reviews so I planned to work to eliminate the movement from the start.... I took the supplied transom mount apparatus and sawed it off with hacksaw leaving the Ratchet Clamp arms attached to the base then began removing material... Ultimately I had to separate arms from the base as 3/4” is all the space available in center of mount between the screw and base.... Using a Dremel with rasp bit, I removed material then checked fit... Painstaking but worth the work.... Additionally, I didn’t use the supplied nylon spacers as I felt they allowed movement, opting for Stainless Steel 1/4” flatwashers ... Needing approximately 1/4” tall stack of washers each side... A bit of trouble getting all of these parts in between the arms of the mount and on the screw that is supplied but doable... I feel this a good mount but Rig Rite should spend a bit more time on it to make these sort of adaptations unneeded.... I’d recommend this if you have a slim budget and are capable of working with your hands...

Seems well made and strong enough. Worked with my humming bird transducer just fine. Put it on a minn kota 70lb thrust trolling motor and it fit just fine.

The spacers in it are not quite the right size for my Humminbird transducer but I just used a couple of stainless steel washers to make it fit.

This is a great mount for your transducer on your trolling motor. It is well built and was cheaper than most. I did have to make my own shims and get a new bolt with locknut, but was worth it.

I'm pleased, no more than pleased. Easy to install, tougher that plastic original, I believe this bracket will be with me till the end of the trolling motor.

Worked great for my humminbird transducer. I found that you have to use the transom mount in conjunction with it to make sit right.

transducer is loose with this application, I had to use washers to make it tight so it would stay straight. poor design in that respect but a good idea if you can make it work
