I am a motorcycle and ATV mechanic and I needed one of these to diagnose a stator in a Honda ATV.It worked perfectly, showed me that the sensor (Pulsing coil) was defective. I replaced it for 17.00 and got my quad running again !These used to be very expensive, but now, these are within my reach financially.

This made it possible to diagnose engine problem. It was impossible to tell where the problem was either to or from ECM. The high voltage is only a millisecond. This made it possible to capture that voltage on my meter. I recommend it for tracing spark problems. A lot cheaper than replacing parts until you stumble on the correct part.
