Soon as I took it out of the package it looked and felt like a good quality bag. While many always desire more room, I find the bag to be a nice size meaning not overly large, bulky and conspicuous. Price aside, I like this more than some of the other choices. After receiving this bag I became aware that Rapdom makes various styles of messenger bag, but for an "EDC" bag or bugout bag and so on, I"d choose this or the larger T311 Tactical Messenger bag. For most situations and to lug around daily, the T310 Field Bag is the way to go and cheaper than Maxpedition or some of those brands.

My only issue with an otherwise perfect bag is the lack of drawstring in the main compartment as is in the full size bag. I would like to see companies such as Rapid Dominance adopt another's practice and use a separate color for the interior of the bag and pockets.

I own 2 of these bags...black & coyote, along with several other RapDom bags. These bags are bomb proof. Absolute top quality at a much better price than Maxpedition or 5.11. This bag (T-310) is the perfect size for EDC. If you need something bigger, check out it's big brother, the T-311 (tactical messenger bag), an excellent choice for a 'get home' or bug-out bag. These bags have all the bells & whistles....grab handle, more than adequate pockets for organization, CCW compartment...etc. The padded shoulder strap is very comfortable. They don't have an external water bottle holder, but a 32 oz Nalgene easily fits inside the main compartment.I only have 1 complaint, and it's minor.....the bags are oriented for right side carry. That doesn't mean you can't carry it on your left side, but they are designed to "fit" the right side. I carry my CCW on my right side, therefore the bag needs to be on my left. Again, a minor gripe on an otherwise excellent bag. But, it would be nice if RapDom would offer the bag in a left side orientation.Right or left, these are excellent bags at less than $50.

First off the reason I went with this shoulder bag over a backpack is the accessibility factor. I hike in bear country in the summer months and having access to defense is key. There are 2 bottle type pouches on both ends. I have a 7.9 oz. can of UDAP bear spray in the front one which I can access in a split second. The other bottle pouch carries my LifeStraw water bottle (which truly is a "Lifesaver"). The CCW pouch is the closest zipped pouch to your body for easy fast access (you can leave it zipped or unzipped). I carry my M&P Shield 9, spare mag and a small stun gun in this one (more often than not, I appendix carry my pistol with a Smart Carry holster just to keep the bag weight down). A bigger firearm could be carried here though. The inside of the pouch is Velcro looped to accomidate a lightweight Velcro (hooked) holster. The main large pouch carries my cat hole trowel (I lay this flat in the bottom to widen the pouch for more storage room), Moraknife fixed blade in a kydex sheath, small first aid kit, Collapsable water bag, small snack items, wallet, Note 4 phone and keys with room to spare. The zippered pouch just below this holds my sunscreen, Swiss Army Knife (Champ), tactical flashlight, fire starter kit and Chapstick with room for more. In front of that is a smaller open pouch with divider mesh net that holds my travel Kleenex, a few One Wipe Charlie's and a micro rain poncho. The zipped pouch above the Velcro flag patch (not included with bag) holds 2 bandanas, note pads and a lighter. This pouch is good for flatter items. There are 2 pen pockets as well. One of them big enough for a hefty tactical pen. The top tube shaped zipped pouch holds several sized ziplock bags, various zip ties and one large lawn trash bag. A larger knife or flashlight would fit in this pocket. There is molle webbing for additional attachments in this area and on the bottle pouches. The shoulder strap has a small pouch that holds my Kershaw Cryo 2 knife, metal multi-purpose card tool, Thin Optics reading glasses and I.D. / CCW license. It closes securely with a Velcro flap and is easily accessible. There is a plastic D ring on the shoulder strap also. The strap is very adjustable along with the waist strap. Both the shoulder strap and the backside of the pack are well padded for comfort. I have never switched shoulders due to discomfort even during a 5-1/2 mile hike. When your hiking this bag will ride more behind you than in front or at your side which I like, but yet bear spray is still accessible. This by no means looks like a "murse" or "man bag". It has a tactical look and the coyote brown color is a nice touch. I would buy this bag again it a heartbeat. It's made very well, it's tough, very comfortable and holds more than you think it could. I don't see why this bag wouldn't work for the left handed individual out there either, but is geared more for right handers due to the zipper layout. Anyway this is one hell of a nice, durable day pack / field bag. Happy trails...

This is one fantastic bag! It is a very well thought out field bag that is well made and comfortable even when full of heavy camera gear! There are 2 versions of this bag, the 310 is the smaller version, the 311 is the larger version. I originally ordered the 311 and returned it for the smaller 310 as the 311 had TOO much room! A superb product, the 310 and the 311 provide ample room for storage of all gear, comfortable carry, superior construction all at a wonderful price! EVERY square inch of the bag has been well thought out. It is almost like the company spent years field testing this with the people who will actually be using the bag! IF you need a well constructed, well organized, highly FUNCTIONAL bag…. THIS IS THAT BAG!!!!!!
