This wand was loud and my kid loved it. However, after a few minutes the sounds got old. Little kids 6 and under would like it. My 9 year was bored after 5 minutes because of the sound. But he really liked the light at the end.

This wand is a little bulky. It would be great for smaller kids. My son is 6 and he liked it but I wished it would have been a little slimmer so it would be more realistic. Still like it though, and it will be fun for him even after halloween.

this wand is fun but like most reviews, it does not have an on and off button. It is very sensitive to movement so in order not to have it on, i have to leave it stationary in one location. Wish it had an on/off button though.

so my 7 y/o really loves his new wand, but you can look at it and it sounds off. very sensitive and cannot be shut off unless the battery is taken out of the compartment. wish it had on/off button, but for the $, a good starter wand.

Cute little prop but there is no off switch. It just keeps "zapping" from any movement, like the car moving on the way to grandmas or the wind or breathin. Otherwise very fun.

I would recommend the wand but it would be five stars if it had an on/off button. Othewise the sound can get annoying after a while since it is motion activated. The light and sounds make this a great costume prop.

My son loves this wand, but I wish it had an on/off switch. One cannot carry it without it making noise. I'm glad that we ordered the soundless one too.

My son plays and plays with this wand. The only issue I have with it is how tough it is to install batteries in the wand. Once they were in and secure, though, it's been working great. It did stop lighting up for awhile, but has started working again. It has some great sound effects. Definitely worth the money.

My five year old dressed as Harry for school. He thought the wand was the coolest because it lit up and made sounds when he waved it. Unfortunately, it was not well made and the first drop on the tile floor detached one of the wires inside. I was brave enough to solder it back together and resecured the motion sensor with very strong glue and it has been fine since.

If you have a little one that wants to be Harry Potter, this is very cute as a prop. It lights up from movement and of course, the kids love that when they are out at night trick or treating. Very cool.
