This is my son's second of these wands, after the first went home with a friend. Its great! It looks like a wand, it feels like a wand, and he spends hours casting spells with it. We also have a light up wand, but its covered in dust - this is the absolute favorite.

Good quality for the price; very durable for kids to play with. Both my son's (aged 5 & 7) enjoy playing with the wand and "casting" spells like Harry Potter.

We have a wand that we got at Universal so this was not as good in comparison but is ok for the price. Looks like the plastic that it is so not very realisitic and it is also a bit too large but overall a good accessory and my son is having lots of fun with it. It is big and chunky and will probably be quite durable.

I wasn't at all impressed by the quality of this wand - I thought it looked plastic and somewhat cheesy - but my 10-year-old nephew LOVED it. Even though I had spent quite a bit of money on a robe (hemmed up 8" and the hood lining replaced by a seamstress friend), a tie, and a (used from Goodwill) white collared dress shirt, ALL my nephew cared about at his birthday party was this wand. (He did finally wear the robe for his Halloween costume.)

11yo was Harry Potter for Halloween and this was an essential part of his costume. Only complaint - he couldn't wave it and make me do what he wanted. Still has it out to play with too!

My son loves this wand. He is impressed that it looks like wood but doesn't give him splinters. I'm just not pleased that the shipping cost more than the wand . . .

My boys are huge Harry Potter fans, and we purchased this wand as a party favor for a Potter Party. The kids enjoyed being able to act out the spells as they watched the movie. One child even went to bed with it that night, so I was told! These wands were realistic looking, although a bit lighter in weight than I expected. My kids also enjoy the "illuminating" factor that some of the other wands provide that this one did not. Overall, for the price, it was a fun party favor.
