Very happy with this purchase. Simple design that works in any decor and internal bungee cord makes leg assembly and breakdown a snap with no lost pieces when folded and stored away. Folded takes up about as much space as a compact folded umbrella. If you need a simple minimalist design that is easy to assemble and adjust to the size of your work, look no further. If your display item is heavy, you will need something else.

This easel isn't the fanciest, but it definitely does the job! I used it to hold up a poster sized, framed, seating chart for a wedding. Despite the day being a bit windy, the easel held up the seating chart throughout the entire Cocktail Hour.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product I like this tripod for what it is. It is a very portable sign holder that can easily hold a foam core sign or other, extremely light signage or art. But there are some trade offs made by choosing light weight portability.For one this is not a heavy use product. I would not expect the tent pole bungy technology to survive a lot of abuse, However it is very handy and mades for easy set up and it breaks down to a very nice, packable size.Also the tripod is a little tippy and easily knocked over due to the lack of cross supports which were probably left out for portability.I wouldn't push this tripod with anything weighty. I have not had problems with the adjustable brackets, but again I am not using anything other than foam core signage. I would think that weight would risk slippage of the brackets and possible twisting of the legs.Pros+ easily packed+ Easy set up.Cons- Light weight- Tippy- Low holding strength.Summary.This really is a nice solution if you are looking for an easy to pack light weight sign holder. If you have more demanding requirements I would go up a step, but at the expense of losing and quick set up and lightweight, tight packing.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product This easel is extremely compact. The unit weighs a mere 3 lbs and is approximately 15 inches when in folded form.If you've ever put together a tent, then you'll see the similarities. The legs are comprised of a few segmented sticks with a elastic string through it. When you open up the legs segments end to end, then it quickly comes together to form the entire leg. The height of the legs itself is not adjustable, but the arms are adjustable. There is no poster clip, nor bracing at the bottom.The entire easel is a tad on the flimsy side, but is beneficial for anyone on the go. The maximum weight supported by the manufacturer is 5lbs -- I would not recommend it for anything heavier as it does seem rather unstable. If you want something that you can put in your bag, then this may be what you're looking for. If you want something more stable, look elsewhere.I give it 4 stars as you get what you pay for.

This easle is amazing. All you do is snap it into place. And you can snap it into adjust the height of the pic or item you put on the easle. It was just that easy to use.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product This little thing is pretty amazing when you see how quickly it unfolds and refolds. I had a 7 year old try it out and she mastered it right away. Right out of the box, the easel legs will unfold in moments and then you slide the two support pieces to the desired height for what you want to display. You then just spread the legs out to the back and then bring one to the front to make a tripod. After working with the legs a little bit, you see where a good balance point is where all 3 legs will be securely on the floor and the easel won't tip over. In taking it down, the key is to utilize the elasticity of the bands in the legs and firmly pull the leg sections apart when refolding...they will then collapse quickly into a small, portable bundle. Pretty genius, really. Now, this is not designed to hold a large, heavy item, but will easily support several poster boards, a small framed print/painting, or other lightweight object.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product If you're looking for an easel that is easy to carry around, quick to set up, and easy to adjust for appropriate height, this is a fantastic easel!The three legs assemble in a manner similar to tent poles. Each leg separates into five 14 1/2 inch segments connected by an elastic cord. The entire assembly can be folded down quickly and easily for great portability. It is then reassembled in a matter of minutes.Two brackets rest on the front legs and are simply flipped up to adjust or flipped down to lock. They are sturdy and strong, and can easily be adjusted by one person with a display already in place.The issue comes when using this easel to hold something like a white board. While the tent-pole construction is sturdy for holding weights up to five pounds, it has no center stabilizer to keep it still for active use. This makes it almost impossible to use while writing on a whiteboard.If you're looking for something that transports easily for static displays, this easel is worth every penny!
