I love these. I have the Seattle Sports blue buckets as well but they do not collapse in a preconfigured pattern that the Stansport design does. The vinyl does not stink bad at all and is very tough. It is relatively light for my purposes and will hold water securely with no creases whatsoever. I think having too is a good idea, one for untreated water, and the other for filtered water. Use it in camp to wash up, drink, for your dog, for dishes, whatever you'd need. Price is ok compared to other options and does the same thing.

Originally bought to bring backpacking but found the bucket a bit too bulky and wide to pack into a bag. There are metal rings under the vinyl around the top and bottom of the bucket so that it collapses like a frisbee rather than being able to roll up or fold.Either way, I've found this bucket is still really useful to keep around for fishing and car camping.

Never collapsed... was easy to carry... and was lightweight, which I needed for the backpacking trip. I probably used this more than anything else I brought. After pumping filtered water into it from the creek, it was great to have nearby for cooking water and to rinse things off.

Pros:LightweightCollapses consistently wellHandle stronger than it looks or feels--adequate to the size when full of water.Cons:Bright Yellow color.This is a great item for camping or RV use. I use it consistently. It is not good, however, for scooping water out of a shallow creek, though. And I wish it came in larger sizes and more muted colors.

This is a great buy. Perfect for your bug out bag or backpacking bag. It folds up nicely and takes up close to zero space. Glad I made the purchase. Maybe next time i'll try and find a camo one...

I knew this was vinyl but I didn't he description didn't say it had a wire reinforcement frame. So, it folds flat, but not very compact...round like a frisbee. Also the added wire makes this much heavier than other water bags. Fine for car camping but not for a backpack.

This item is collapsible and not foldable as described. It maintains the same footprint. It did not meet my requirements so I returned. Otherwise, Item is of acceptable quality for price point.

Carries water fine, no leaks. The handle seems to be rather strong but then again, I have not filled it to the rim maybe a little over half, tops.
