I researched replacement preamp tubes for my Peavey ValvKing 112, but couldn't find much on this tube for the V1 Clean Channel (tube closest to the input). Here is a link to a good discussion: . I decided to try it out anyway and I think it sounds better than the JJ ECC83 tube it replaced.
