Works great. Pretty good quality. More easily convince your friends and children to help clean your pool by using this toy.

This remote control boat is awesome! A very fun way to clean the pool, which is usually a boring task.

I received this as a birthday present on 12/12/11 and right away this is one of those products that I wish I had though of! Assembly is easy, it takes about 5 minutes requiring only a Philips screwdriver. Initially, you have to charge the battery for 5 hours, then 4 hours each subsequent time. On my first charge I got about 30 minutes of run time, which was enough to skim the pool twice, two days apart. I'm used to only getting about 10 minutes run time out of an r/c car so I thought the run time was pretty good. The net does a good job of catching most everything floating on the surface and it is easy to remove and empty, just don't reverse both motors with the net in because it will quickly blast everything you picked up back into the pool! One thing I noticed is when running full forward or backward the props create a whirlpool that makes them cavitate; I'm not sure if that's bad for these little motors or not. It is especially noticeable if you are running the boat without the net installed. I think a little bit of extra weight on the motors would solve this problem, I'll try it and report back.Overall I am very pleased with this product, it is a lot of fun to use and serves a purpose at the same time! Now if they would just make an r/c submarine to clean up the crap on the bottom of the pool...

It does pick up a few leaves off the top of the water but a bit slow for lots of floating objects. Fun to play with. Needs a longer lasting battery. Not hard to assemble and is generally ok.
