Beautiful! The silver finish is a bit rough on the hands. But that is not a problem unless you are in a marathon practice.

I was impressed with how carefully the cane was packaged for shipment. Lightweight and suitable for performance or practice.

With first use the plastic cane bent and the cheap ribbon started fraying and shedding metallic pieces. Ugh.

I'm new to cane dancing so needed a cane that was easy to use. I've found it to a nice weight and easy to dance with. The decorative covering has worn fairly quickly so will need to be re-covered but the other dancers in my troupe have found the same issue with most of their canes, some that were much more expensive.

very sharp gold tape. way too short for anyone over 5'6'' - i'm 5'9 1/2 and i have to suspend it in the air when it is supposed to be touching the ground (it's either that or crouch, which is a no-no). I also had to wrap smooth packing tape around the bottom edge because it gives wicked blisters while twirling.
