I use it as a portable mahl stick for painting. Nice and light. Hope it's durable enough for the long haul.

I purchased this cane for an event. It was what I expected and looked great with my costume outfit. Loved the gold color too.

I love gold and got this cane as a fun accessory to spice up my practice and performance for oriental dance. It is made well and really helps me with balancing. A fun accessory!

The cane is wrapped in a metallic threaded ribbon, which gives a nice texture, and the silver color is very pretty. The cane will look perfect for my belly dance performances. The main reason I gave four stars, rather than five, is the metallic threads in the ribbon will wear out when rubbed against rough surfaces and poke out from the cane. This mainly happens where the cane is bent, since the metal tubing inside the cane has corners from where it was bent. This imperfection will not be noticeable to the audience though, so it is still an excellent cane.

Shipping was super slow. didn't get a shipping notice until one week AFTER I ordered it. However, the stick itself is not bad. the wrapping has a nice, solid texture which won't wear as easily as the usual foil and will stick on your head better if you are balancing it.UPDATE 12/13: this is made of PVC piping and not bamboo; it broke upon first use. Do not use this for real cane/bellydancing. a few smacks and it's toast.
