Bad Ass Bob takes most hits like a champ! The only downside of this dummy would its inability to take serious power strikes or kicks. The first back kick drove this dummy half-way across my basement despite being full of water. Overall it was easy to put together and the quality is very good.

I purchased this item to add variety to my workout. I'm really enjoying the diversity it adds but wish the screws to secure the torso to the post was better. I put on my favorite music and punch to the beat. Sometime during the 3rd song, I hear a screw fall out. I have to stop the wonderful rhythm and sweating I've got going, take off my gloves, find the screwdriver and replace the screws. I also have to re-tighten all the others because they're getting ready to fall out too. This is irritating but, I enjoy punching this guy so much that I will keep him. I just chalk the loose screws up to me having a more powerful punch than I realized. Also, you may need a 2nd person to help secure bob to the post as it's very difficult to hold the torso in place and screw the screws in at the same time.I had no problem filling the base with sand because I had a plastic container, that after cutting a hole in the bottom to match the fill hole, made it very quick and easy. Bob is sitting on a small rug in my garage and stays in place, waiting for his next punch.

I bought this for my fiance for Christmas. It has become his favorite workout companion. Our children also enjoy being allowed to beat the crap out of something without getting in trouble. I have swung a few times...but I'm a feable woman. :)

My son loves this, even though you can hear the echoing when he punches the living crap out of this, he is having fun with his workouts...which is important. We have this on our basement, filled with water at the base and have no problems with it so far. It seems sturdy, the rubber top is great for punching and kicking without worrying about injuring your hands or feet. It was extremely easy to assemble and this will last for a while. If you are looking for something to build your upper body, this is a great idea. It will give also give you the benefits of cardio while sparring with this. I am happy with this purchase.

I've had this for about a month and I am pleased with it so far except the fact that 1 of the 6 screws that hold the body to the stand keeps popping out when I try to practice throwing knees to the side of the body. I'm going to try using some loctite thread locker to see if that corrects the problem. As for the product otherwise I'm very pleased. I had to wrestle with it a little to get the screws to line up to attach the body and I filled it with over 200 pounds of sand which took about 3 hours but after all that it's exactly what I expected to be. A human looking punching bag that's a good workout and fun to hit. I've seen other models that only have 2 screws in back, which is what I would have gotten had I known beforehand how this thing mounts up but it's working fine so far. I really like that you can adjust the hieght and that it's quick and easy to do so.After using some loctite on the loose screw I no longer have the problem with it popping out. I use this product about 3 times a week now and it's holding up pretty well. I would recommend this punching bag to anyone in the marke for one.

Poor Bob. He takes so much abuse. But he handles the fists, elbows, and knees like a champ. He's been a lot of fun to work with and I found the construction to be of very high quality and versatile with the ability to add water or sand to the base. If you're into martial arts, Bob is worth the money.
