Rubbers in table tennis are very subjective depending on your style but this particular rubber is a very good starting rubber and, if you get really good, you'll end up playing like a pro with it too. It requires perfect form to impart good spin on the ball, which really allows you to develop the right way. Definitely get this rubber. It's very well priced and performs very well. Also, it may feel a little dead at first because the sponge is so hard but after a couple of hours of playing, the sponge will soften up and it will feel really good when you're playing with it. Look up the reviews for this particular rubber elsewhere if you want a more in-depth look into how this rubber performs. But long story short, it's a very good rubber. Make sure to take very good care of this rubber because it's pretty tacky (sticky) and attracts a lot of dust and dirt that will cause the rubber to lose it's stickiness. Buy some rubber soap and a sponge for it and definitely invest in a cheap plastic cover to protect the rubber! Enjoy!
