3 Gallon Metal Pail with Lid for Sensitive Products and for Ensuring Integrity
Made of a strong 28 gauge steel body, this open head 3 gallon metal pail with lid has a rust inhibitor primer interior* to maintain sensitive products and their integrity durably.
- 26 gauge steel plain pail cover with lever lock ring closure
- Black bucket includes a metal bail handle with a plastic grip for easy handling and pouring
- Ideal for non hazardous materials or shop use
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Rust inhibitor applied to the interior of unlined steel buckets is a primer that helps inhibit the formation of rust during transit and storage - it does not prevent rusting. Under ideal (clean, low humidity) conditions, drums with rust inhibitor can be stored for up to 30 days without rusting. If empty drums will be stored for longer periods or in higher humidity conditions, consider a phenolic or epoxy lining.

Arrived clean and dent free, very nice finish. Just as a precaution since a review or two mentioned rust forming on the seam- I gave the entire inside/outside a couple of coats of clear. I needed it for long term storage, so a coat of clear was on my 'to-do' list anyways.I also purchased the lid. Nice, tight fit and secure.

I spray a lot of automotive lacquer and it is a mess to clean up the gun each time. After just doing a 5 minute job, spend 30 minutes cleaning the gun. I bought this and filled it half way with lacquer thinner....now I just drop the gun in it, swish it around a little and dab with a soft brush and I'm done. Two gallons of thinner might be expensive but it lasts for years and saves a ton of time. You'll have to buy the Vestil LID-STL-LL Steel Lever Lock Pail Lid separately but it keeps the lacquer thinner sealed up so it lasts a very long time.
