Tough bag, but with one major but easily fixed flaw. The bag is sealed at the top by folding down the top flaps against a protruding peg. The strap has a carabiner against one end that you then secure against the peg, and this keeps the bag from opening. If you head onto youtube you can see how this is done. The problem is that as soon as the carabiner takes any sort of weight (and considering how big this bag is, there's a lot of weight to be taken once it's loaded up), the bar slips and the carabiner opens, allowing everything in the bag to spill out. Thankfully I noticed before I checked it in as baggage, and used two zip ties as extra security. if you plan on really beating this bag around, definitely use something else to secure it shut. Anything like a little bit of cord to knot it shut, or a locking carabiner (with a screw down) would work great.

Larger than advertised. Had to return the large bag as it was too big. Canvas is a little thin. Great for night smuggling, or disposal of not so good friends.

This duffel bag is durable and huge. The one I ordered was larger than expected by I am very pleased with my purchase. The canvas is very thick and so far it has held up. I think when fully loaded it will be a little heavy to carry but that is fine. My only criticism is there is no way to close the top due to lack of a cord. Easy fix I will use a paracord loop or and old belt. Overall very happy.

I bought this bag to transport oversized props for cosplay. It easily fits all my giant swords and other ridiculous things I need to take with me to conventions. The construction is sturdy and the metal fittings are well designed. I might waterproof it for peace of mind but otherwise this bag is perfect- I could live in it. Literally. I???d fit.

We got the large duffle and used it to put 2 large hiking backpacks in for a trip to New Zealand. We figured the backpacks would take a beating in the cargo hold so wanted to protect them. Worked out great, the backpacks arrived having been very well protected in the duffle. The duffle is made of thick canvas with a nice metal buckle.

Great quality, but I second the top review: KNOW THE DIMENSIONS YOU NEED! I ordered the 30x50 for a bunch of clothes to be checked on a flight home, and it was so huge there was no way it would be close to the 50lbs maximum.

I bought this bag to be used for a strongman sandbag. I got the smallest sized and made about a 185lb bag. It last about 7 drops and when I drug it across the ground about two feet it ripped. I could see it working for lighter weights but if your looking for something semi heavy I'd spend the money on a quality Ironmind or Cereberus bag.
