My mother in law's doctor asked her to buy this and it did seem to help a little for the arm pain she was having at the time. It stopped bothering her and I attribute it to this band. She found it annoying to wear, but it really helped.

For some time I used one of those black fabric bands you get at the pharmacy for my tennis elbow, and they were OK, but this for me has really helped. It was suggested to me by a physical therapist. Of course, individual arms are different, but for me this is the one.<br /><br />1. Does not slip. I could never use those fabric bands under a long sleeve shirt or jacket, the band would always ride up or down. This one stays put!<br /><br />2. Focused pressure. Yes it's stiff, but more comfortable than it looks because it doesn't squeeze the entire arm.<br /><br />3. Not all black! OK this is minor, but if you through an all-black brace in the back of your car or closet it can vanish into the shadows.... I know, you can't make a fabric brace in white because it will soon look dirty, still, it's nice that you can find this one easily.
