Although i got the wrong size these are hands down the toughest boots ive ever owned. Comfort and grip are awesome as well. A must have for any person working outdoors.

Bought the same size I previously had. This one was a little larger for whatever reason. Use a thick insole to take up the extra room.

Tough but comfortable pair of boots

These are great boots and are super comfortable, provided that you buy the right size.My foot size per the Brannock scale is a 10D or 10 Medium. Most of the tennis shoes that I buy are 10D. Most of the cowboy boots and laceless leather dress shoes that I buy are 9.5D in order to get a snug fit since leather stretches. In these Belleville boots, I wear a size 9R (9 Regular). The size 8.5R is not long enough and cramps my toes. The size 9.5R is far too big and slips too much in the heel. 9R is perfect and had just the right amount of heel slip (about 1/4 inch) until the boot broke in and molded around my ankle.I did replace the laces with some Ironlace paracord laces. They grip the boot better and stay cinched when you're tying your boots on. The laces that come with these boots are okay but not great. Go ahead and order better laces while you're at it.As far as socks go, I usually wear Under Armour over-the-calf heat wear socks. They work great with these boots. The boots do have enough room that if I loosen the laces some, especially over the vamp or instep of the boot, that I could wear thicker socks for colder weather or more padding if I needed to.Only time will tell how durable these boots will be, but the reviews I've seen here and elsewhere suggest that they will hold up for a long while to come.

I love these boots I've been wearing them nonstop for almost 20 years. Not the same pair but the same style and brand. The run a bit large order half size smaller than your normal shoe size. I normally wear a 10.5W I order these at 10W and am very happy with them.

Sizing

All of our boots are available in Men's Regular (R) and Wide (W) Widths, with some styles offering Narrow (N) and Extra Wide (XW) widths as well. Since sizes & widths vary among boot styles, please check individual boot styles for available sizes & widths.

Unfortunately, not all boot brands fit the same. For this reason, we would like to offer a few sizing tips that will help you get a better BELLEVILLE fit:

  • CHECK YOUR SIZE:Belleville boots are about 1 to 1½ full sizes larger in fit than your normal shoe size when measuring on a standard Brannock shoe device. The difference depends on the type of boot you choose: soft toe versus safety toe, hot weather versus insulated or waterproof, etc.

  • SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE MINI-MiL (TR101, TR102, TR103) MINIMALIST BOOTS:Due to the wider shape of the toe box, we have found that the MINI-MiL® tends to run on the small/short side. For this reason, we recommend customers order a half size up from your normal shoe size. For instance, if you wear a size 10, then we would recommend you order a 10.5 in the MINI-MiL®.

  • GET SOME BOOT SOCKS:Try on the boots with a pair of boot socks that you will normally wear with the boots.

  • PLACE & LACE:It is important that your foot is properly placed inside the boots when selecting a size. Proper foot placement requires that the lace is drawn snug at the bottom of the lacing system. This will prevent your foot from sliding forward too far and keep your heel properly placed against the back of the boot. To improve the fit of the boot, try loosening or tightening the laces at different parts of the boot until you get the perfect fit.

  • CHECK THE LENGTH:Length-wise, when your heel is placed against the back of the boot, you should have a slight amount of room in the front of the boots to wiggle your toes.

  • CHECK THE WIDTH:Width-wise, your boots should feel a little snug, but not tight.

  • TAKE A STROLL:Walk around to see how the boots feel. Make sure your heel stays in place and not sliding up and down (this can cause blisters).

WOMEN'S SIZES

Belleville does offer many boot styles that are specifically manufactured for women. All Belleville style numbers that begin with an "F" indicate a boot specifically designed and sized for women. If a particular style of boot is not available in women's sizes, we recommend ordering the boot 2 full sizes smaller.
