Overall, this is an improved version of the earlier airbrush compressor model. Does not need a needle valve to start up. One negative aspect is that the pressure regulator screws on so it is upside down with the moisture trap at the top. I tried several times to reseat it but the threads engage such that it always ends up in the wrong direction. Be sure to use several layers of the provided Teflon tape to make the seals between the individual pieces.

I use this for airbrushing scale models. The volume is great. Setup was relatively easy, especially since I had no experience with setting up or using compressors before this (make sure to use the tape to seal the hose and prevent air leaks). Small, light, delivers up to 40 PSI as advertised. The only downside is that it tends to walk, but that isn't really much of an issue for me.
