The retaining pin on the handle managed to work it's way out. I was able to finagle it back in, but was a little disappointed that it faltered in the first place. I'm glad it happened in my garage and not out in the field, otherwise I would have most likely lost the pin and had to macgyver something in order to dispense fuel, as it was inoperable. Otherwise it's a nice unit for my 2 cycle mix.

The can did leak when tipped because they had paint all over the cork gasket in the cap. Took the screw and washer out and flipped the gasket over and it's pretty good now, maybe only one drop.

I like that the nozzle cover can be held open with a one-inch key ring. Don't like that nozzle drips even when using a funnel.

These steel safety cans are the only gas cans allowed on construction sites by OSHA for a reason. They are probably 10,000 times safer than any plastic can. I hear you. They are expensive. And to be honest, they are. They're 2-3x as expensive as plastic but since your average homeowner owns only a few gas cans it seems like a pittance for not blowing up your home, car, loved ones, etc.But hey, it's America (check local listings) and you have the right to blow up yourself, your family and your neighbors in order to save a few bucks if you want (humming Yankee Doodle Dandy).
