I built a console extension for my vehicle and added these so I could keep my coffee within hands reach. They work perfectly for that. They work well with anything about as big around as a soda can, small bottle of water, small coffee cup or small-medium beverage cup. For anything larger, like a large drink, full-size coffee cup or large iced drink container, forget it. I typically use a small hot coffee travel cup and it works perfectly for that. It looks beautiful with the brushed stainless finish and polished edge. Use an appropriate hole saw to make your opening and just drop it in.

Made a cup holder for my older car, these worked well as I'm not a metal fabricator like that. They hold regular bottles of water cans of soda well. Not really for big gulp style cups
