The price was great, and it looks good. The bad part is that the chairs kind of rock a little when you sit on them. I am by no means a big guy (5'10, 160lbs). I dont know how they would hold up with a big guy. The table is solid and it does its job as a breakfast area in the kitchen.

Finish color is nice, but had a small nick when it arrived. Fits our needs fine. Easy to put together.

I looked A LOT for a higher table with two chairs to put in my old 1880 Mill House in South Carolina. I wanted something that looked quality since this house has the original pine hardwood floors but the modernized kitchen has higher (39") counters. And it needed to be a smaller (but big enough for two) size since the kitchen also opens onto the great room.... Of course, too, my budget needed something that would be reasonable. This set completely fits the bill!! This is a solid, real wood walnut table and chairs. 34" square, 40" tall. Putting it together was a little bit of a challenge cause the pieces weren't marked, but the directions (and the logical alignment) weren't horrible. I'm an over 50 single woman and I had it all put together in about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Would I recommend this? Definitely for a classy looking smaller size high wood table and chairs it is superb.

No part of this table and chairs combo was made with composite wood. It was all real wood and went together easily. Not sure how Winsome offers it for the price, but I'd have every confidence buying any product with their name on it in the future.

Overall: An excellent pub table for a basement.Pros: Excellent sized all-in-one set, seats two adults in a solid, sturdy product; Color, size, and features accurately depicted in specs / pictures.Cons: Assembly instructions could be a little more clear (minor).
