I needed a bookshelf that was tall and narrow for a small area. This is perfect! It is a nice, sturdy piece of furniture with a rich finish look. I Would recommend if you are working with a small area. However, it is narrow so shelving area is small.

This is a very nice shelf and met my requirement for being narrow. Putting it together was easy (20 minutes tops).Having said that, I would have rather paid $50 for it (paid $80) based on the lightweight wood and the backing only being a slide-in piece of thin pressboard.Also, the odor from the wood/paint is really strong...it's been over a week and I can still smell it from a few feet away.

Good quality for the price. Nice and narrow. Fits in small spaces. Would recommend if you don't want to spend a lot but want product that looks nice.

After reading many of the reviews I decided to purchase this, and I am very happy with it! The color is very dark brown to almost black. It seems sturdy, but I won't know for sure until it's filled with books-it's a Christmas gift. It came well packaged and undamaged. My husband isn't exactly a whiz putting things together and he had no problem assembling it; it only took him 20 min or less! I'd recommend this to my friends and family.

Attractive bookshelf that was easily assembled. Once it was assembled it is very sturdy. We love this addition to our room!

Then finish on the product came a little chipped and dented, but nothing a little sharpie touch up couldn't fix. It's sturdier than I thought it would be and fit right in the small space I had available. I would buy it again.
