I wanted a full face shield for wood turning, got tired of chewing wood chips & dust (however some have better flavor than others) To me, this face shield is a bit overkill for my taste, a bit bulky to wear, but when that infamous chunk of wood that flies off the lathe and takes aim to my face, I'll be thankful that I have the Uvex on

These are great for safety. They give you an enlarged area of view and don't fog up as easily as goggles.

Terrific vision, and easy use, with great ventilation. Used my Dewalt grinder for almost 2 hours, felt indestructible until I realized the grinding sparks were bouncing off my chainsaw gas can!!

This shield is lightweight (made of plastic) yet very durable. I use it when I turn bowls, the dust does not accumulate on the screen to badly and It deflects flying debree without gouges ( nothing big so far ). It does what I need it to.

gives clear view and protection. Adjustment for closer to face seems to allow fewer stray chips behind the plex. The lower guard at chin does accumulate a few chips and dust. I should have bought replacement lens with original purchase ,just in case.

Enough room for splash goggles, N95 dust mask, and banded earplugs (hard band). Wish the headgear was just like my Gen II headgear that I have on my Miller Digital Performance Welding helmet (2012). Other than that, can't go wrong with this. I use it for grinding and cutting (my air tool no long has its guard in place.)

protective shield did not last but 3 weeks before it cracked in several places along the bottom were it sits along mask rim! And this was their hardened lens that goes for $21.00, each! the frame is comfortable but who can afford $21.00 a month to replace the lens?

I like this shield over many others I have used or looked at. Fits my larger head nicely and the plastic ring does not dig in at all. Very clear and easy to see screen too.

I use this when I am turning on my lathe, and it works very well. It is easy to adjust and comfortable on my head, and does a very good job of blocking the flying debris coming at my face. The inside of the plexiglass will sometimes get fogged from my breath, but for the most part it is very clear, especially compared to the previous face shields that I used.

This is a well made face shield. I purchased it to use when using the lathe. It is pretty easy to use.
