It is exactly what you would expect, Sufficient quality piece from a reputable brand. It would be nice if they supplied the drill and a dab of loctite, but i knew that it wasn’t included when i bought it.

First time I ever did a thread repair.
I stripped the threads on a torque converter to flex plate special nut when putting the automatic transmission back on the engine.
Used the drill size indicated, (drill bits not included in the kit, would be a boon if they were), tapped the coil thread with the included tap, and then inserted on of the included Heli-Coil thread repairs, and torqued the flex plate bolt to its 35 ft. lb. specification, no problems.
The nut I stripped on the 57 Chevy powerglide torque converter was a special made nut, and would have cost over $75 to have replace. I was only able to fined one seller that even had them. So saved many $$'s.
I now have the tool for any future FUBAR's for that size and thread type, plus still have 11 more of the coils.
Repair was pretty simple and straight forward,
Happy I bought it rather than having a machine shop do the job for me.
Never really got a firm price from jobbers do do it, but think they wanted about the same price or more than this kit cost me, and now I have the tool in my inventory.

Love this tool - saved me on the repair of a $1k set of ssbc calipers that the bleeder screw stripped out ( do to have a stainless steel bleeder screw ,screwing into soft aluminum , what a dumb design )
