This costume was everything I hoped it would be...Fun, sexy (but not trampy). Everyone commented on how "expensive" it looked. I bought the petticoat to lift the skirt and that was a must. Only complaint was with the hat - it came out completely flat and no amount of reshaping was going to restore it to come close to the picture. I ended up taking wire and threading it around the brim, unstitching and then re-attaching the sides and the back and then added a couple of higher quality peacock feathers I got at Michael's Craft Store...after that, the hat looked amazing.

This costume was a winner. No one had it which is rare. Nice fit. Didn't use the belt. Only warning would be to order early so you can reform the hat. It was very smashed upon arrival.

Overall the costume was great!! I chose to get a different hat because I didn't like the hat that came with it. I bought the petticoat but I didn't use it. The petticoat just made me look like I had a huge butt. My fiance agreed! :)

I loved it! I got alot of compliments from everyone, and my husand thought I looked sexy.Iit didn't show too much but just enough. The material was not cheap at all. I also wore the petticoat under neath it.The only thing I didn't like was the hat. It was too big.

I'm really tall, so while I got an appropriate size for the costume, it didn't fit in a flattering way at all. The top fit great and was really sexy. The skirt fit great (a little loose but elastic held it on, and adding a petticoat worked awesome). But the two together did NOT work at all. There was a big gap between the end of the top and the beginning of the skirt. So, be warned if you're tall, or long through the torso (apparently I'm both).I can't comment as to how the hat would have turned out, as I didn't mess with it but just returned the whole thing, but it definitely looked pretty smashed up from packaging when I glanced at it.

Bought this costume for a party this past weekend. Had it for a month. It was delivered alot faster than I had anticipated. I couldn't wait to wear it.I got so many compliments! I am also going to wear it to a Jimmy Buffet concert!The only downfall was the belt. I had to pin it to keep it from loosening up on me.

This costume was so cute!!! The size was great I am a small person and was a little worried it would be too big but was just perfect I lvoed that it was not too short either. The belt did not stay up at all I ended up having to pin it on. The hat shape is nothing like the picture I do recommend taking it out and trying to shape it before you wear it but I still found I could not get the shape right it was really holded up too much from the packing. I did not get the petticoat for underneath so I ended up taking it to my seamstress to add it as well I did get the top sewed onto the skirt just so that my belly did not show while dancing. But the cosutme was awesome I loved it!!!! I looked good and I felt good wearing it. Was definaley a hit!!!!!

I love the look of this costume.Unfortunately I didn't realize it was a separate top and skirt. I am just over 5'10" and buying costumes is very difficult because they are always to short. The top fits great, but is not long enough to cover my whole torso! The skirt is too big, and has lots of stretch. Love the costume and will definately pass this along to a shorter friend!!

I'm glad I found this costume. I had to look for a while to find a cute costume that also would cover what I wanted to cover and it be in my size. My order arrived on time on the exact day that it was guaranteed by. The costume fit perfectly, and the material is nice. My only complaint would be that the belt has no way to stay in place, i.e. it has no belt holes or anything. And, it is a bit small. Nonetheless, I can make it work. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase, and am glad I came back to buy another costume from this site.

Loved the skirt, I put a petticoat underneath it and it gave it a fun full look. The top is great and flattering also! For the hat I had to replace the sorry feather with a full ostrich one, but that was only a couple of bucks at Michaels. I also had to steam the hat and mold it accordingly because it was pretty smashed upon arrival. The belt didn't fit (it was too small), but I didn't need it because I am short (5'1") and the top and skirt came together beautifully! I am chunky (XL) but the outfit made me look and feel sexy, and I only saw one other girl wearing it at the Pirate Pub Crawl fund raiser!.
