I bought this to maintain my daughter's goldfish tank at 6.8-7.2. Despite only 2 fish in the tank, it can only keep the pH at about 6.4-6.6. I still need to add pH up everyday. I will try pH 8.2 for hers.I use it in my tank with 2 tiny goldfish. So far the pH is staying at 7.2. We will see how well it maintains.

I was using this before I changed to Malawi/Victoria Buffer for my African Cichlid's. It kept my tank at a good standing 7.5 pretty much all the time. My girlfriend uses it on her Beta tanks now. I use the other for my cichlid's now.

This is a must for Fresh Water Fish Tanks! It keep the proper pH to number seven! This is needed so you don't need to change your water so much in your fish tank!I own a wide 55 Gallon Fish Tank in my big house! Since I live in Troutdale, Oregon, I used to have to Change my whole water once a month! But, the above solution helps Very much thus I don't have to change my water!Fresh Water Fish Tanks Need to Stay in about pH Seven so the fish won't die! I highly recommend the above solution for all Fresh Water Fish Tanks!Take Care,K. Ann Jorgensen
