This is a higher quality, USA made version of the cheap forks sold by Coleman, Coughlans and innumerable other brands. I find it worth the extra money to buy American, and I find them to be noticeably more robust to boot. Besides, if you were going to cheap out, you would have whittled a pointy stick instead of buying fork, wouldn't you?
