I ordered this in a small (up to 2T) for my just turned three year old and probably should have gone up a size because it just fit, except for the belt that we took in to fit his waist. It was lightweight, I had him wear a shirt and leggings underneath for extra layers. But it was comfortable for him to wear, looked great and he is obsessed with the hat, which has held up fantastic through him wearing it constantly. I would give it 5 stars for the hat alone.

Was the cutest costume ever! Very reasonable and my 2 year old loved it! He wanted to wear it everyday for weeks! It was very comfortable! The sword is still going strong and he is 3 1/2 years old now!

For the price, this is a decent costume. It is very thin, so I don't know if my son will get more than a couple uses out of it, but it is a nice looking set. Update: I can now report that he will NOT get multiple uses from this costume. The elastic on the pants separated in multiple spots. I actually ordered it in a larger size planning to let my son wear it to the Ren Faire this year and next, so I'm disappointed that it didn't last a full day. I will say it looked quite cute on him and that the accessory pieces, the belt, hat and shoe covers, will probably be reusable. Basically, this is fine for a one time Halloween costume or Pirate event, but if you're hoping to keep this in a dress up trunk, you will likely be disappointed.
