the problem is when going for a major tweeter upgrade like I did , need to ensure the magnet fits through the existing speaker hole in the enclosure. these magnets are huge , had to expand the enclosure via a hole saw.

I installed these in the door of a 2001 buick regal. They are no where near a stock fitment. Some wiring and figuring out how to mount these in the door later and they sound great. I had pioneer 5'' an 6x9s previously but it wasn't cutting it. These tweets were definitely the missing component.

I initially brought these to use one to replace the center dash from a mid-range to this.. But upon installation, I found that the depth was no where near enough to support this tweeter! So I was gonna sell both, instead of just the one. And inner spirit just said, 'test it, and you will see'.. And gosh darn it! The difference this thing made was unbelievable! Long story short, I'm keeping both! I found a space to mount them on my amp rack, and I can't stop banging my system! I have them connected to a crossover that's already powering my 1 inch tweeters in my front doors. They brought out my whole system! And they are taking the power I give em with ease! They are pretty big as the magnets are just as big as the front. But if you can find a spot for them, GET THEM! And you'll be impressed.
