I bought these surrounds thinking "these will never work." After I reviewed the direction and watched a you tube video. I jumped in feet first. It was a little hard lining up in the beginning but after I did the first one the second one was easier then the first. Now my Cerwin Vegas are beating like they used to. And to think I was gonna pay $120 for a new speaker plus delivery.

It was fairly simple to repair my (2) CV 10 subwoofers with this foam surround kit. Everything needed was included, did repairs one afternoon and tried the following. Speakers are like brand new again.

Has everything you need though I did find that the instructions could have been a tiny bit more detailed as far as using the voice coil shims (I used all 4 on each one instead of 3 as they wanted to make sure it was perfectly centered). I had never performed a repair like this before and it was done flawlessly. My 12" Vegas have never sounded better in 30 years. I'm so glad I could rescue these speakers.
