These work great! I hooked it up and was immediately spared from all the “farty” needless bass out of my subwoofer. I still wanted to test things out, so I played back a few selections and kept swapping the filter in and out. It really does a great job tightening things up in the low end. Without the assault of all that muddy bass distracting my ear, I could actually hear my mains singing a little more clearly as well. I’ve only used one out of the two so far, but the other is going right into my car. Highly recommend!

Checked the function of these with a Dayton Omnimic v2 setup on a horn-loaded 834; Tangband W8-740p that was experiencing some distortion with 20hz signals. Placing a Fmod 30hz highpass filter did very little in the was of lowering sub-30hz response, it more or less attenuated the entire output same as placing both in a row (see photo). So while there is a few db of reduction below 30hz compared to the entire frequency response, it more or less is just lowering the entire output.
