I have had a Foxtail twice in the past, when my now 30 year old son was young. I bought these two for two preschoolers' birthdays and they loved them! I am a licensed family child care provider and the young children I care for thoroughly enjoy the worn out torn one that we play with on a daily basis. It's easy for young children to throw and regardless of their throwing ability it always goes somewhere! And they feel good about that!

I used to play with the original when I was young. Loving that I can now play with my girls!

This thing is decent enough for smaller kids. But for big kids, its to light and doesn't fly very far. The only way to get it to fly farther is to get it wet. So you can conclude, that it is good for the beach but only decent for any place else.

Great toy for the kids. Trying to catch it at the different colors makes for a fun challenge so the kids play longer and different variations of the game so it never gets boring.

My dog loves it. Would rather have the ball be harder. But as long as he can run for it that is all that matters.

My entire family loves this toy. It is great to get out and have a game of catch. When it first arrived my boys (ages 5 and 10) were outside with it for 2 hours. The only downside is when it is windy because it is so light. On those days, or at the beach, we use the regular Foxtail.
