These light fixtures turned out to be just perfect for lighting a 15 step stairway along the side of the house. Easy to put together and install.

Problems:<br />1.) comes with cheap bulbs that burn out in a few months.<br />2.) Longer life bulbs are available on line, but...<br />3.) HD product information does not specify the bulb shape (T 3-1/4 is the proper ID) thus customers cant find long life replacement bulbs because one does not know what to buy.<br />4.) Don't buy unless you want to be out weekly changing bulbs in a string of these lamps.

We bought 8 of these to replace old, outdated lamps in front yard. My husband had to use a pliers to squuze the little connectors hard enough to pierce the main wire-he actually had to redo one w/ splicing, caps,etc :0( However they really look nice with a soft 'downcast' lighting effect. Very pleased so far.

Had a bulb go bad in one 2 days after it was installed. Not a problem though!! Juist popped it out; took it to my local Home Depot and they gave me, not one; but two bulbs free!! Awesome customer service!! Glad I bought from HD!!! Oh, and I bought the LED spots to go with these and they put out a TON of light!! Love them too!!!

Had installed one light before a wind,hail storm and the light had no dents or damage, the old ones we had were damaged beyond repair. The height is a little taller than some,which is nice. Extremely happy with this product.
