Malibu Coach light with seeded glass

This is a beautiful, near top-of-the-line Malibu low voltage path light. I bought 8 of them to replace my 10 year old Malibu Canterbury path lights. Of the 8 I purchased, 2 were defective. At $30 each, I expected more than to find so much plastic that easy breaks upon installation. The spike, which on my old Canterbury's was metal, is plastic. The female part of the thread is also plastic, which on one of them literally fell out. The socket for the low-voltage 7 watt bult is also loose in each lamp, with a cheap feel.With that said, the ones that worked are beautiful, especially at night, lighting up my walk.If I had it to do over again (what a pain it would be to uninstall 8 lights and exchange them for others), I'm not sure I would buy this light again, because of the cheap plastic components. I expect more of the Malibu name brand when I drop nearly $200 to replace my low-voltage walk lights.

A bit lightweight and the ease of installation could be better since the wire lead lenght is very short. But overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I purchased over 15 of these to replace the perimeter lights on my large patio -- they are now installed and look fabulous. Very elegant appearance and a nice lighting effect -- they look good both day and night which is not common for this type of fixture.
