I read the reviews before I bought the product and was worried about the quality. Here's the deal: the problem is with the quick connectors. They do not always work. I only had two out of six lights work. I cut the connectors off and just used old fashioned wire nuts to make the connection and all six work! So do that and you should be OK.

I was looking for a replacement for my low-voltage landscaping lights, as the incandescent bulbs kept burning out in them much too quickly. These LED lights may be slightly more dim, but they are very stylish, stand further off the ground than my old lights, seem to be quite durable, and take less less electricity. These features make them more than an even trade. They are a little pricey, but assuming they last a long time as LED lights are meant to do, I should reach a reasonable break-even point, no longer needing to replace bulbs and using fewer watts.

Bright lights; direct light toward the ground with a wide radius; connections were a bit difficult to make, as the tips that pierce the wire need to be slightly longer. The stakes are much longer than most solar lights which should make them more stable with pets and kids playing. The all metal construction is a nice change from all of the solar lights I have owned.

I have had these for several weeks and they look great. I have had compliments from the neighbors on how good they look. I was worried they might not be bright enough to light my pathway. Not true, they are very bright and were very easy to install.

I purchased these lights last week so I don't know how long the lights will last. The feature that made me select these was that the light was 33 lumens for 2 watts usage. In practice this relates to about a 6ft diameter circle of light for each fixture to light my walkway. The LED sits at the top of the light and the light is directed down so you are not looking at the light source as you do with some bulbs. The bulbs are also encased in the plastic cover so you should not have a problem with bugs getting in that have to be cleaned out. The upper part of the light is metal and the stake going into the ground is plastic, a good combination. The power supply in the kit is 20 watt and the fixtures add to 12 watts so there is 8 watts to spare which is not the case with other light sets. Thus I purchased an additional 6 watt LED flood light and have that aimed down my driveway while the other 6 lights are along a front path. The flood light is 110 lumens and illuminates a path about 24 feet long very nicely. I did have to raise the spotlight by placing it in a 3 foot piece of pipe which extends about 2 feet above ground level. Because I had had problems with the clips that perforate the wire in the past I cut them off and used gell filled wirenuts that can be buried in the ground to fasten the wires together. It seemed simpler than soldering and shrink wrapping but may not be as robust. The power pack has settings for the length the lights will stay on after dusk and I am using the 8 hour setting (2920 hrs/yr). They say the average life of a LED is 50,000 hours so theoretically I will not need to touch this system for 17 years. We'll see.
