Inexpensive solution to the problem of inside measurement. Used in my shop to measure cylinder bore diameter on aircraft engines.

Like all other K-D tools I have ever owned and used in the shop, the quality is right up there with the best. These gauges work smoothly and are very precise. They lock properly and hold their position (unlike a cheaper set I used to own which I'd have to check and re-check and lock the thumbknob exceedingly tight to get it to hold) - These are a required tool for our shop, for several of the product lines we carry, and the price was far better than the tools provided from manufacturer distributors. KD is a brand that you can trust for top quality and precision, and typically a better price than the bigger "name brand" tools such as Snap-on, Mac, or Matco. We are pleased with our purchase, and happy to have a set that covers every possible range we'll ever need, from valve guides (as small as 8mm) to ATV cylinder bores and brake drums. Our set came in a hard black case with foam insert to pad the tools, though we purchased base on this listing and photo, so we got a little bit better deal, we think. The case protects the tools from being banged around in a toolbox.
